Euro target pistols have tighter chambers than their American counterparts and as result are usually pretty ammo finicky which pretty well leads you to having to use Euro made target ammo.Īs a side note, the only totally wore guns I have seen that were not military training machine guns were two OSPs that between them were supposed have some 400,000 rounds of short through them. I'm wondering if the issues reported by respected members of this group are based on owners who were not really target shooters and maybe were trying to use American ammo in them. Of course there are various iterations and improvements over their 40+ year production and some have various issues but on the whole they are far more trouble free than a S&W 41 which I've also probably fixed hundreds of. Having worked on hundreds of GSPs/OSPs at competitions around the world I have to say overall they are a very reliable shooting platform.
